FAS Names New Chief Compliance Officer

Kansas City, Mo.

Financial Advisory Service, Inc. (FAS) announced today that Jacque Glenn has joined the firm as the Chief Compliance Officer.  Ms. Glenn will report to the firm’s Board of Directors.

Prior to joining FAS, Ms. Glenn spent a dozen years with the former Waddell & Reed, Inc., the broker-dealer subsidiary of Waddell & Reed Financial, Inc, most recently as their Chief Supervisory Officer (CSO).   Before becoming CSO, she held Vice President and Director of Internal Supervision roles at Waddell & Reed, Inc.  Ms. Glenn holds a bachelor’s degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, and holds FINRA licenses 7, 9, 10, 24, 63, 65.

Ms. Glenn succeeds Carol Sloan, who has had a 34-year career with FAS.  Ms. Sloan will work closely with Ms. Glenn to ensure a smooth transition and then take a step back to spend more time with her family beginning in 2023.

“All of us at FAS are incredibly grateful for Carol’s decades of service to the firm,” said Tom Meier, Managing Director.  “We’re also excited to welcome Jacque, who throughout her career has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to serving advisors and their clients.  As we continue to grow and transform, I believe strongly in Jacque’s ability to guide us through this transition compliantly.”
